Early Life
Seyi Hunter was born in Surulere, Lagos. She grew up in a polygamous family and had lots of brothers and sisters. Her father was an Igbo man– from the Eastern part of Nigeria while her mother was from Akwa Ibom State.
Seyi was very friendly and learned to speak Yoruba while she was young. Her childhood was tough as she lost her dad at a very young age.
Her mum was also a housewife and things were very difficult for her family at the time. Seyi also lost her half-sister at 15.
Education
Seyi Hunter finished her primary and secondary education at Surulere before moving to Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State.
There, she studied Performing Arts, Industrial and Labor Relations. She also took a photography course in 2014.
Career
The ambitious actress started her acting career in 2011 after a meeting she had with Funsho Adeola at a movie location. Her first role came in the movie Aromodomo which was shot in Ibadan.
She has gone on to feature in other movies such as Broken Fixtures, My Club, Insanity, Pain, Alenibare, and Rukayat alongside other actors namely , , , and Collins Onwochei.
She currently owns a company called Hunter’s Media which is into film production, documentary, rental of equipment, modeling, and photography.
She is also the CEO of beauty pageant company Miss Bikini Nigeria.
Personal Life
Seyi Hunter loves to stay indoors on her “off-work” days. She is a lover of books and also watches movies regularly.
She loves to spend time with children and organizes parties for them occasionally using her resources and initiatives.
Seyi Hunter is very outspoken and once aired her opinion on her rejection of sex roles in movies.
She also came out recently to announce her plans of starting a business in the porn industry.
