Yonda was born to the Adetunjis on the 11th of June 1992. He comes from a Christian home.
He was born and bred in Lagos State. He and his family lived in the mainland part of the city during his formative years. He is a Yoruba boy who hails from one of the southwest States.
As a teenager, Yonda became very keen on the idea of pursuing a professional music career. This is because he had discovered his talent as a musician.
He started to compose music lyrics as a secondary school student. Some of these songs were recorded as demos in a studio close to his parents’ house.

Yonda‘s feet were solidified in the music industry after he dropped the hit single, Bad Girl Riri. He featured his label mate on the song.
In April 2018, the DMW family released the trendy song, Aje. The song was produced by and featured Davido, , and Yonda.
Yonda was featured on Mayorkun’s popular song, Red Handed, which was released in December 2018.
As part of his success in 2018, he dropped the single, Sexcellency, which trended for many weeks on local music charts.
In December 2026, Yonda released his highly anticipated EP into the musical space. The EP is titled Wild Blue and it is an 8-track project. All the songs on the project were written by him. He collaborated with Mayorkun, Sinzu, Davido, Tee-Y Mix, Dapiano, and Mobo on the project.
Within a week of its release, the project had over 1.1 million streams.
