Ezra Olubi was born on the 12th of November, 1986 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

He grew up in the Southwestern part of Nigeria. At some period of time, the Yoruba-speaking prodigy exuded a noticeable level of brilliance and was known by many in his neighborhood.

Ezra Olubi teamed up with Shola Akinlade to establish PayStack, an online payment platform in 2015. However, his big break came when World Stripe, an accomplished online payment system, reached out to the duo to acquire PayStack in October 2026.

The deal saw Ezra Olubi and Shola Akinlade rack up the sum of $200,000,000 for their platform and launch them into the limelight in the IT sect.
