Ghanaian legendary figure; Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, was born on the 26th of August, 1948. He was raised in the Ashanti Region of Bekwai.
As a kid, Kwadwo was fascinated by science and technology and would spend most of his evenings creating small cars, helicopters and simple machines out of sticks, stones and everyday items.
In his teenage days, Kwadwo was described as one with a very high IQ; due to the level of industry and craft, he showed at the time. He also loved sports, music and was a passionate lover of God.
Education
Apostle Kwadwo Safo completed his basic education before attending the Ghana Technical Works Institute in Kumasi.
He also spent three years at Volta Aluminum Company (VALCO); where he majored in Welding.

Ministry
In the late 1960s, he founded a movement/prayer group and later transformed it to a Church (Kristi Asafo)– Christ Reformed Church in 1971.
His passion and effort to build the ministry led him to manually produce and sell soap, cooking oil, foodstuffs and other commercial products in his local community.
At the moment, the Christ Reformed Church has set up more than 100 branches in Ghana, Italy and the United States.
Inventions
Many still believe that Kwadwo Safo is the greatest inventor and innovator in Western Africa – even to this day. His works which cut across the agricultural and technological industries is simply astonishing and very commendable.
He founded the Great Kosa Company and started producing vehicles in 2015; after getting approval from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) in Ghana.
He is known to be the first man in the world to manufacture Bass guitars with seven strings and has made other gadgets and machines such as weed slashers, street garbage collectors, spot welding machines, medical and industrial robots, sensors, aircraft, armoured cars, missile launchers, air conditioners and many other technical items.
Personal Life
Apostle Kwadwo Safo has been described as the greatest multi-dimensional Scientist of all time. He is happily married and has two successful children.
His daughter; Sarah Adwoa Safo, is a Lawyer and Ghanaian Politician– a member of a Parliament for Dome Kwabenya Constituency. She got married to Hanny Mouhtiseb in 2019.
His son; Kwadwo Safo Jnr. also got married to Juliet Ibrahim before parting ways in 2014. He currently manages Kantanka Automobile Company.
