Dr. Makena, who charges fees ranging from R25,000 to R2 million for his services, purportedly holds a Ph.D. in Sports Medicine from the University of Pretoria. However, Rikus Delport, the university’s head of institutional promotion, has refuted these claims, asserting that there is no record of Makena ever studying there, casting doubt on the legitimacy of his alleged qualifications.
